One-off big jungle cuts to regular weekly or fortnightly - you choose. Our service always includes edging either by lightweight strimmer or hand shears because I know this really makes a difference.
Spring and Autumn lawn care is our premium service tailored specifically to what your lawn needs and what you want to achieve. Normally starting with moss and weed control I then use a professional scarifier to remove the dead moss and pull the thatch from your lawn. If required I may aerate your lawn using a core remover before reseeding and top dressing if necessary. I then proceed to feed your lawn every 6-8 weeks during the growing season to maintain a lush luxuriant turf and switch to Autumn/Winter feed as the seasons change and growth slows. This Autumn treatment is equally as important as Spring to sustain your lawn during the dark, wet months.
Yes I do weeding! If your borders are completely swamped with weeds and turf then I can fully reinstate them. If they need a general weeding then of course I can do that too. I weed the old fashioned, thorough way on hands and knees with a hand fork. It takes a bit longer but it also lasts much longer. Once your borders are done I’m happy to apply a good layer of weed suppressing mulch if you would like.
Shrubs, perennials, bushes and trees. I can carry out and advise on the correct time to and how to prune. There is such a variation on how this is done it is always best to get this professionally undertaken. From winter and spring cut backs and tidies to fruit tree pruning I can ensure your garden gives its best in the coming year. I can also cut down and remove small to medium sized trees.
A twice yearly haircut is what I recommend for most hedges but I know thats not always possible. If you have left it a few seasons and its got a bit out of hand I can carry out a reduction to bring it back for you. Maybe you already keep a nice hedge and need some help with maintaining it now? I also dabble in the dark art of topiary so if you fancy some box balls or cubes let me know!
In some circumstances a blast over with a pressure washer followed by re-sanding is all that is required but we all know pressure washing is very messy, wasteful of water and importantly doesn’t last that long. Thats why I have recently introduced soft-washing. Using professional chemicals, a scrubbing brush and hose not only will your drive, paving and hard surfaces look great, it won’t need re-sanding and the green moss and algae wont grow back for much longer. Often just an annual quick simple spray is all that is required to maintain that new look. Incidentally, this works great on slippery decking.
